IDPFS – Poland
Project Coordinator

IDFS Sp. z o.o. (IDentification and Food Safety) was established in December 2012. Our mission is to change the imbalance and support partnerships in food production chains, and ultimately the cooperation of entire chains in order to promote Polish food on global markets. We implement this mission through activity in the following areas: building the integration of Polish agriculture, implementing innovation in agriculture, building “traceability” and “sustainability”, identifying high-quality food, limiting the negative impact of agricultural production on the environment, reducing the scale of food waste and building balance and partnership in food production chains. It is a response to the growing requirements and awareness of consumers, but also importers and distributors of food.

We work with individual farms as well as groups and producer organizations. We integrate agriculture horizontally (producer groups and organizations) and vertically – cooperation in the food production chain (purchasing, slaughterhouses, processing plants). We also support optimalisation of food production chains  (including shortening and optimization).

We are committed to creating reasonable solutions in the field of regulations regarding the integration of agriculture, funds, including EU funds and other financial instruments supporting agriculture.

We implement solutions in the field of production safety monitoring and quality “certification” using the newest technologies: IoT, blockchain, cloud. We operate in both animal and plant production. We have created the AGREGO IT system. It is a tool supporting integration, scale building, communication and value creation (confirmation of quality and safety) in the agricultural sector, in food production chains. We have solutions for individual farmers, producer groups and wider industry organizations, agricultural advisors, but also for other entities in the food production chain. At AGREGO, information on agricultural production is collected from the farm level, and then transferred along the production chain – to the group, industry organization, and the processor. Diversified access levels and a flexible authorization system allow AGREGO users to cooperate within one system, not only within a group of producers, but also with advisers, agronomists, zootechnicians and veterinarians who additionally verify and authorize data on agricultural production from farms. At the same time, AGREGO is open to integration with other systems and suppliers of IT solutions for agriculture (among others, it allows you to import data on agricultural production directly from the ARMA systems).
